to-do: document my daily life through a paper notebook.

I guess this blogs acts like a make-believe journal, but I really want to put everything into a paper notebook.

I have one started on the first of september – and kept for three months – that records small happenings through words, photos, paperclips, and drawings.

I have another one with only words and drawings. it lasted one month. january.

now, I just find myself too busy to take the time to sit down and write/print/draw. but after seeing Angela’s notebook, I felt so inspired.

she has the most lovely stop-motion film too (thanks Jeska).

a timeless moment at the Clarendon.

to-do: write a cookbook.

I think I have just found the perfect place to get the writing done. a café/restaurant/bar right down my street.
I cosily seat on one of the padded benches, get my moleskine and papermate pen from my bag, order a latte, then let the magic happen.

I love it there.

don’t you find it easier to work outside from home?

although most of the day got spent on stuff-packing (yes, we are finally moving to London – like TOMORROW) – which I don’t particularly enjoy (and that’s and understatement) – we had the best surprises.

a new member of the family. please welcome Mister Peanut, possibly the sweetest bunny ever.

a gorgeous poster sent all the way from Sweden. oh yes, that one, made by Elisabeth for Studio Violet.

a pretty pile of lost polaroid pictures that will go straight onto our Kensington-flat naked walls.

a white guirlande, for the tree we’re planning on buying tomorrow night. any tips for buying Christmas trees in London? please.

an amazing one-colour-a-month Moleskine daily diary. I just can’t wait for 2010 to begin! let’s not rush though.

hope you had lovely surprises too on this Friday that marks a new beginning for me. I might not be able to post for a while, but I’ll make sure to think about you every day.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

today, I had to turn my laptop in for repair. a sad coincidence is that I’m also stuck in bed due to a mean cold.

I guess I’ll spend the morning watching the dark knight, and then after a visit to the doctor, I’ll write in my journal and read a book.

wishlistrainy days {one}

although it’s still super*hot around here, I’ve somehow been in an autumnal mood lately. wishing for rainy days, hot chocolate, and gum boots walks.

here are two things that could make the upcoming season even better.

• new ugg boots. perhaps in grey. with a button, but without would do just as perfectly.

ugg

•• pretty cases to carry my laptop and iPod around. now, if only hard graft did some nice camera bags. any recommendations for sophisticated yet simple ones?
