so if I remember right, I was supposed to post pictures of my sushi-on-the-beach night with D., but things got in the way.

first I have my 5am to 1pm pâtissierie job that makes my heart so happy I have no words for it. for once, I really feel like I’ve found what I’m supposed to do. and it’s just terrific.

second, I’ve had tons of orders lately: posters, cd jackets, and… cakes. I’m quite happy.

third, I’m so supposed to post the second part of the SHF round up on foodbeam, but cropping the pictures takes time.

fourth, J. came over, put make up on my face and took pictures of me making silly faces. I love him.

well, I guess, the beach pictures will have to wait for a couple of extra hours.

five days later

I’ve been here - at home - for five days, and so far I’m enjoying it. it’s been very quiet and busy at the same time. but I guess things will fly by faster from tomorrow, as I’m starting my internship at pâtisserie Lac in Nice.

looking forward to it! and to actual autumn weather.

david and I went to the beach today after a little shopping trip to cap 3000. he filmed the waves while I took pictures of the pebbles. it feels so nice to be back home, close to the sea and to my friends.

I’ll share some pictures of that terrific evening tomorrow.

I’m finally home, and with time on my hands. great!

I uploaded the pictures I had kept inside my camera for ages, and came across these two, which reminded me of the awesome evening J. and I spent together. eating crispy crackles under a handmade cardboard tent.

this was so much fun.

I love documenting my life because I know how happy it’ll make me feel in a couple of years, when all I’ll ever have are memories. preicious memories.

however, proper journaling can seem a little daunting, so when I came across Brooke’s fantastic idea, I knew it was just the fit for me. five things a day. how pretty is that. plus it’s another good excuse to use my PoIC (and scanner, yeah to being back home!). love love.

getting there

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

remember that project I told you about a couple of weeks ago? well, it’s slowly getting together. so far, thirty one polaroids of the clouds were taken; daily.
I can’t wait to have a hundred of them, so I’ll finally be able to compile them into a neat little book.

an early winter

hello hello my friends. the thesis is now officialy turned it, leaving me with nothing to do except get my oral presentation ready.

here is a little poster I made for a baby girl.

as a side note, I can’t wait to go bak home and have a little bedroom makeover. I’m totally planning on paiting a naive mountain landscape onto one of the walls.
