scandinavian white house

love this beautiful house spotted over at design to inspire. it somehow reminds me of elsie’s recent post about salvation mountain.

busiest day of the year. but I still managed to find some time to 1. relax at the lake with friends; and 2. write a post over at foodbeam.com
best day ever.

happy birthday to my bestest friend. love you.

since I can hardly move from my bed because of a lovely strep throat, I thought I would share little moments from my day, instead of the usual crafty pieces.
and I do truly think it’ll be this way around here until I recover. and when my body temperature will finally be normal (fingers crossed), this type of articles will be posted in the pretty days category.

I made myself some hot chocolate with cinnamon. it was so yummy and comforting.

materials
:: one cup of milk
:: a couple of squares of high quality dark chocolate
:: a pinch of cinnamon, ground with my mortar and pestle

and I sipped it as I was flipping through this sweet little book I bought in Paris for eight euros.
some of the images in there are so very inspiring and beautiful and colourful.

we represent the lollipop guild {0}

I’m quite happy with all the things I got done today. first, I design a logo for my etsy shop: my signature lollipops into a coat of arms. I think it nicely fits my lollipop guild - and more generally speaking - wizard of Oz addiction. I then got the logo to be made into a stamp, so I could stamp it onto the packaging. the stamp has both my email adress and etsy shop url.

as for the packaging, I thought it would be great to recycle all those printed paper sheets I usually keep to jolt down quick little notes.
do you think it looks pretty?

I also made a banner for the shop since I didn’t like the one I made in first place anymore - it was lovely though: a forest of coloured lollipops.

materials
:: 80g/m² printed paper sheet
:: clear plastic bag
:: black archival ink
