an early winter

hello hello my friends. the thesis is now officialy turned it, leaving me with nothing to do except get my oral presentation ready.

here is a little poster I made for a baby girl.

as a side note, I can’t wait to go bak home and have a little bedroom makeover. I’m totally planning on paiting a naive mountain landscape onto one of the walls.

fetishism, two

a website under contruction
Emerson Method Coaching. Your universe, organised.

fetishism, only very slightly stretched.
this concept originated from a simple fact. as I was typing my thesis, I was stroke by how neatly the folders in the cabinets surrounding my desk are arranged.
thousands of them, filed by colour and theme. like a collection of fetishes.

yesterday

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

longest week end of the year. lazily spent at my grand-parent’s house. endless bike rides across the fields and along the beach coast. clafoutis making. book reading. and olympic games watching.
I’m glad to be back, but wish it could have lasted just a little longer.

I tried to tweak my pictures to give them a slight film look and feel. not sure I got it right, but I happen to like it.

an illustrated life

this is probably one of the things I want the most right now. along with a printer and an ice-cream machine.

sunday*morning

it’s been so quiet around here for the past couple of hours. my mum and sister just left after spending the past few days with me.

it was so nice to get to enjoy their company; plus we had so much fun.
on saturday, my sister and I made this sweet soft-toy. my sister drew it and chose the fabric. while I got to have some sewing-machine action.

this is the cutest ugly little person I’ve ever graced my eyes to see.

we used to smoke winston cigarettes

this got me so inspired, that without even noticing it, many memories from my last *favourite* relationship came back to my mind. and I decided to start a new series of illustrations about what we used to do/be together.

although I’ve now moved on, those are all precious memories I want keep securely nested somewhere around my head.

one day I told her I loved her, she laughed

flickr is my favourite place ever. well, along with tumblr and your bed.

pommes d’amour

love her. that girl she seriously wears some accessories I would die for. fearless fashion, just as I like it.

alessandra mortola

my eyes can’t get enough of Alessandra Mortola’s beautiful props. every single picture from her portfolio feels like a firework.
ps. merci Anne-So for the find.

by the way, I can only advise you guys to check Anne-So’s tumble blog. she’s *very* active; and collects some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen.
