journal • unexpected love {2}

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I only went away for a couple of days, and here is what I found when I got back.
the trees have all blossomed and it’s gorgeous. I feel blessed to live in such a lovely city.
spring, I love you.
what do you love the most about spring?
tags: film, flowers, london, pentax me super, spring.

Birds coming back (like my house martins at my office window), the way trees blossom by turns – first the apricot trees, then the cherry trees and the mirabelle plum trees, then the apple trees, the plum trees and the quince trees. Oh, and I absolutely love white magnolias, their pulpy petals falling on the ground and their subtle, melancholic scent.
And the meteor shower that I saw last night – the Lyrides, that takes place each year between 16 and 25 April, with the peak on 22.
Gorgeous photo! You know, you made me rediscover film photography. I bought an old Zenit 3M and I’m so anxious to develop the first roll. Thank you for being so inspiring! Have a grand weekend!!
