I find Sarah’s creations so sweet. They remind me of the science of sleep (*favourite*movie*ever*).

I am collecting beautiful objects
A pair of shoes
Some glasses
Telephone, typewriter
They are made from wood and felt with apparent stiches

Her small objects are so inspiring.

Just love these pictures of Bjork by photographer Erez Sabag. They so make me look forward to winter.
Favourite words ever: earmuffs and mittens; moonboots sounds pretty much perfect too.

J’aime les polaroids. Normalement, je les utilise pendant les soirées; c’est rigolo et old-fashioned and everyone just stares at me because they really can’t believe that polaroid cameras still exist.

Alors que je passais mon dimanche tout à fait normalement – avec du thé, des petits gâteaux et mon ordi, j’ai trouvé cette photo sublime (sur flickr, évidemment).

Current and very concerning obsession. I find cuckoo clocks so delightfuly old-fashion and cute. I even drew one in my moleskine 365-days-a-year-notebook (still need to scan the pages to tell you a bit more about this *new* project).

I’m so insanely busy. That’s a fact. However, I did find time to quickly draw some logos for my name.
Nothing good – really, but I’m still sure there is something out there that just needs time to finally shine.

I just love this picture. Simply gorgeous. More generally, I must say that I have a weakness for any picture taken by Alicia Bock.

Three days ago, as I was riding my bike to my flat, I got hit by a car, flew into the air and ended up on the road. My bike is now pretty much ruined and yet, I am fine. I certainly do have a couple of huge and ugly bruises and a bump of my head, but, still nothing serious.

This made me realise how fragile life is. It happened for a reason. I was feeling sad because someone who I thought was special in my life let me down. I should have realised earlier that what that person did wasn’t right, but I kept fooling myself.
The accident, as I now call it, was in the end a happy one. However, it got me extremely tired and sore, wanting to fly back home to be comforted by the people who truly love me.

I didn’t, but three things really cheered me up today.

1. I was sitting in the bus when I saw flashing lights a hundred of metres ahead. A cyclist had been hit by a car, and it was far more serious than my accident.
The bus driver called the station saying the traffic was stuck on that street. Ten seconds after, I could hear a loud radio message: ‘ligne 2, on ne passe plus par la rue Ozenne’.
So far, things were pretty normal. But what made me smile, is when I heard every ligne 2 bus driver shouting ‘reçu, je suis au grand rond’, ‘ok, je suis a esquirol, je passe par St Michel’… through the same radio that just announced the traffic jam.
Random, I know, but it really made my day.

2. Love that picture.

3. My new cosy batgirl sweatshirt. Simply adore it. I’m actually wearing it right now to keep me warm (not screaming your name at night anymore)

This is one gorgeous picture by Lara. I love the soft brown tones of the stairs against the pastel pink cupcakes; so pretty.

I’m so looking forward to having finished writing my essay and getting my new lens, so I can go walking and take pretty pictures of the autum that’s showing up.
I really love autumn: stunning warm colours and freezing cold wind. I only wish we had more autumn traditions here in France. Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie and pecan tarts.

Here is an eleven-song playlist I created for all the great autum walks ahead. It might just be a ten-song playlist for me though, as the last song reminds me too much about what recently happened in my life and makes me cry. Every single time I listen to it. Yet, I really wanted to feature it here, as it’s one of the best songs you’ll ever hear.
